We had an absolutely amazing time at The Residence Ella. The rooms were spacious and spotless, with great decor and comfy beds. The breakfast was delicious! It is at the perfect location with only a 3 min drive from Ella town, with a peaceful environment.The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. We were hours earlier than our check in time and they made sure to make the room ready as soon as they could. And Mr Thimira was so flexible as he allowed us to come back for a quick change even though we had checked out. Nothing was too much trouble. I can’t fault the place and will definitely go back. Highly recommend if you are planning a great trip to Ella!!

We really enjoyed our stay here!! Customer service was excellent and we always felt taken care of. Location is nice and it’s a short walk to center. Breakfast was great and they bring it right in front of your room! The room was sooo clean and had everything we needed for a short stay. The value for money is very good here and I would deff recommend this place to others!

This was a beautiful residence in the heart of Ella, that had all the requirements for a nights stay. The location is fantastic, being in walking distance to the town. The host was so lovely and gave us good advice of where to see sights after we finished our delightful breakfast. I would recommend this place, very comfortable stay.

This room comes with a balcony and it was our favorite part of the room. It had various places to sit with a table and lounge chairs. The greenery around the balcony along with birdsongs and other wildlife made the view something we enjoyed and looked forward to. The room itself was large along with a large bathroom. It is off the main street, so it is quiet at night but an easy walk to restaurants and shops. The breakfast was standard each day however, there was a unique Sri Landan dish added which made the breakfast special. We enjoyed the home cooked food by the family!

Thimira is one of the best hosts we met on our travels so far. He cares very much for his guests and even gave us his phone number, so we could contact him anytime if necessary. Each morning he preparred another local speciality for breakfast, so that we could try everything. We can highly recommend the coconut-honey pancakes. The room and the bathroom was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The location is also one of the best in Ella. When you go out on the street, you have the town with many restaurants to the left and all major attractions (Nine Arches Bridge, Little Adam's Peak, Ravana Waterfall) to the right. Thimira also recommended us Pallewella Waterfall (10 minutes drive from Ravana Waterfall) which was much less crowded and very beautiful. You can even take a bath there. We highly recommend staying at The Residence Ella :)
